OPEN & CANDID
Founded in the summer of 2020 by Damian Hastie, Open & Candid was created to initially investigate & highlight the UK government awarding of PPE contracts. We have published many exclusive stories, that have later appeared in mainstream media, particularly in regards to contracts won by members of the Plymouth Brethren Christian Church also known as the Exclusive Brethren.
We have featured in the Sunday Times, Byline Times, iNews, The Guardian, Private Eye, All the Citizens. We have been on the Get a Life & Blackballed Podcast in Canada, we have assisted a number of other media outlets & journalists in a number of different countries.
We are also always happy to collaborate or lead on issues relating to conflicts of interest and potential corrupt practices by leading government officials. We take the view that transparency leads to good governance, we have no political party allegiance and currently are self funded, with any costs being paid by our founder.
Our goal is to publish the most in depth overview of the Plymouth Brethren Ecosystem, to continue to build on the great work by others working in the same area. We will also be looking to fund raise to enable us to work full time on uncovering potential malpractice in government & religion.
We are always happy to except feedback and try to deliver fair & balanced reporting from our research. We thank you for taking time to check out our work.
