Open & Candid continue to research into the Covid contracts awarded to companies ran by members of the Plymouth Brethren Christian Church. We will shortly release research, which will show hundred's of links between the 54 UK companies that were awarded covid contracts. Prior to publishing of this research, we have looked at how almost £2 billion of the Covid contracts can be linked directly to the trustees of the Albacore Gospel Hall Trust.
The Albacore Gospel Hall Trust is a registered charity 1159958. The trust is responsible for the Gospel Hall on Beckenham Hill Road in Beckenham. The hall and site with parking for over 200 cars is currently listed for sale. This includes a video for anyone who has not seen inside a Plymouth Brethren meeting room. On their published accounts the meeting room is recorded as an asset, with a value of over £1.6 million. In the financial year ending 5th April 2021, the trust recorded income of £187,000.. The current trustees of the Albacore Gospel Hall Trust are Bruce Hazell (Chair), Ray Hall, Garth Woodcock, Jonathan Woodcock & John Glass. These 5 trustees have links to Covid Contracts won by 17 companies ran by members of the Plymouth Brethren Christian Church during the pandemic.
Garth is listed as a director or ex director of 19 companies on Companies House. He is named as a current director of 2 companies that won covid contracts to supply PPE. He is also listed as the co-founder of Jemc Ltd incorporated in July 2011. The company changed name to Unispace Global Ltd a month later. Anthony Hazell was appointed as a director in 2013. Garth was listed as a director until 2016. Garth links directly or via family to 13 companies that won covid contracts.

Bruce Hazell is the brother of Jim Hazell & the uncle of Anthony Hazell. His other brother Peter is married to Lois (nee Reiner). Bruce was heavily involved in the Charity Commission appeal back in 2013 and was seen as an active lobbyist in parliament for the Plymouth Brethren Christian Church.

Jonathan is a brother of Garth Woodcock, Jonathan & Garth married two sisters Heather & Priscilla Glass. Therefore the family links for Garth & Jonathan are very similar. No listing were found showing Jonathan as a company director.
John Glass is the brother in law of both Garth & Jonathan Woodcock. He is listed as a director of 2 companies Stirling Medical & Scientific & the now dissolved Stirling Trading co. Again due to the family connection many of the links from a family perspective are similar.
In summary from the trustees of one church hall in Beckenham, we find direct links via business or family to 17 companies ran either by the trustees or by fellow Plymouth Brethren Christian Church members. What is astounding is the value of the contracts won by these 17 companies. A huge total of £1.95 billion!!!
