Open & Candid have been examining a part of the Epstein Files, looking at the text messages exchanged between Jeffrey Epstein and political strategist Steve Bannon. There are over 950 pages of text messages, starting in March 2018 and continue until just minutes before the arrest of Epstein in July 2019. It provides a window to the global plays of Bannon's 'Movement' campaign, and the unusual level of access that Epstein had with global leaders.

*We don't believe that the Department of Justice have released all the messages to the Epstein files. In 2018 there is a gap where there are no messages published between Epstein and Bannon, between the 19th October until 11th November. It would seem somewhat incredulous, when you consider that Epstein met Bannon over the weekend of 10th/11th in Paris, and that there are over 950 pages of messages.

'Movement' Campaign

Message exchanged between Epstein and Bannon would suggest some kind of collaboration between Epstein and Bannon's 'Movement' campaign.​ It is clear Bannon was working with parties to the right of centre across many countries including Brazil, UK, France, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Italy, Czech Republic and Switzerland. We can also see that Epstein was 'opening doors', along with providing Bannon with advice and support.

Bannon & Epstein

The relationship between Bannon & Epstein is interesting, if you were to 'cherry pick' different files, one would likely come to the conclusion that Epstein was advising Bannon. You might even question if Epstein was the boss. When you take the full picture from the start in March 2018 until the end in July 2019, a different picture emerges, and there are more likely explanations that can be drawn.

It would appear that this was either a handover of responsibilities from Epstein to Bannon, or that it was purely transactional, with Epstein providing Bannon with access to world leaders, in return Bannon was building a strategy to improve Epstein's reputation.

One of the early text messages on the 26th March 2018, showed a thank you from Bannon to Epstein for what would appear to be a meeting the previous day. The response from Epstein offered to;
​
1) Set up a meeting with the powers behind something called 'times up', preferably at an academic setting to provide them cover. We suspect this group includes former academics and there are a number of contacts made later with individuals, who we believe to be a member of 'times up', we guess the name is to do with the age of the members!
2) Asking where Bannon was based, did he need another base and did he require financing?
3) Probably the most enlightening part of the response, would suggest that Larry Summers had attended the meeting the previous day and was suggesting how they make a cover for the activities that Bannon would be undertaking.

It quickly becomes apparent that Epstein is setting up meetings for Bannon to attend and meet people heavily connected to the organisation with knowledge outside of the USA. Bill Burns, Terje Larson, Joi Ito (times up), Miro Lajcak, HBJ, MBS, Thornton, Kudlow and John Kerry.

The sheer volume of messages shared over a 15 month period and the level of detail would suggest, that there was a high level of trust and that a friendship grew. The level of access to world leaders and the levels of influence they held with politicians is quite remarkable and concerning.

There are a couple of strange comment from Bannon, where he says "all roads lead to Beijing", Epstein replies "or Tel Aviv wink", and a further comment from Bannon on dropping Christian from Christian Zionist. This would give some fuel for the potential of this being some kind of Zionist organisation, of which Epstein was a member and they were using Bannon.​
